The ministries responsible for putting on the weekend:
WHY MAKE READY WEEKEND?
For centuries, the phrase “make ready” has been given as a command to prepare for action. As a military term, the order to “make ready” has preceded everything from bayonet charges to artillery barrages. If you were an adventurer on expedition, the command “make ready” would have let you know that the journey was about to commence.
To “make ready” is to prepare. To “make ready” is to do what is necessary to lay the groundwork for the task at hand. As fathers, when it comes to our children’s faith, our task is to help them “make ready” to face the world as Christ-followers.

CHALLENGING YOU TO BE THE SPIRITUAL LEADER YOUR CHILDREN NEED
For too long, men’s conferences have told dads that they should be discipling their children, but have left out one important aspect of this message: how.
Make Ready Weekend will not only challenge you to be the spiritual leader your children need, it will equip you to know exactly what that looks like.
Make Ready Weekend is different from other conferences in that it intentionally creates and equips discipleship moments between dads and their children before, during, and after the event.
